My Cat From Hell

On animal planet, its about cat's and owners in need of retraining, I liked the show but the last couple that girl needs to ditch the loser he is a jerk who screams at a cat about a punishment for waking them up. And why would you move in with a guy who talked about "trading" your cats like they were a piece of furniture?

Otherwise I loved the show

Haha, I am grateful to my kitties for waking me up...they help me get to work on time most days

I just saw tonight's show. I'm glad my other half likes my cats and took them in as his! He treats them just like i do and calls them our kids! Some people shouldn't own animals imo.

Just before that, there was a show called "Me Or The Dog" in which the husband was habitually hitting the poor dog... and then wondering why it was all hyper and disobedient. I couldn't believe he allowed them to air the program -- I'd be so ashamed!

I wanted to watch it but it wasn't on my Animal Planet!!! Is the Animal Planet that airs in the US different than what airs in Canada?!? I even did a search in my satellite menu, but nothing.

I only saw part of one show where the guy didn't want the cats in the bedroom. I'm married to a guy who loves our cats, but even if I wasn't I would never consider a creep like that!

There's a new (season 2) episode on AP right now! Sorry for the late notice to you all, but I just found it while I was channel surfing. Looks like it's replaying at 11:00 tonight (Mountain Time).

I met my future hubby on an online dating service. In his profile, he posted 2 pics of  his "Two favorite things":1.Jasmine (his cat) 2. His Jeep. (Note that Jasmine came first!)  I think I put "must love animals, esp. cats" in my profile.  I could not live with someone anti-cat.

I watched a bit of this.. I really didn't like the guy who like cornered the feral cat. She couldn't have been much feral as he let her handle her but was not happy about it. Maybe semi-feral. I was waiting for her to bite him, lol. My hat is off to the people who can make ferals into house cats. My friend has done this but I know it's not easy.

Hmmmm, not sure I would like it just based on the name!

I think it's a great show. I do thnk the name could be a bit more flattering to cats, but, I love how it shows it is usually the people's issues and not the cat. People just don't know how to handle animals, cats in particular.

Miagismom- that first cat wasn't feral, they had here since she was a kitten. They had never had here spayed and couldn't figure out why she would get so upset. I just can't believe people are that ignorant about animal care. But, they are.

There must have been another thread on this show somewhere, I just did a search and replied to the first thread that came up. laughing02.gif

I know because I'd replied in another thread about the show a few months back. Don't let the title of the show fool you - this guy has said there's no such thing as a bad cat. I have read enough since I adopted Holland that I don't really learn a lot of new stuff on the show, but it's good for uninformed cat owners. And, I love to see him interact with the cats and how he "trains" their owners to properly care for their cats. He's got good methods and he knows a lot about cats!

I love that show. Jackson Galaxy is such a character, and so in tune with his cat "patients." For those of you that have not seen the show, he does more to retrain the cat guardians than the cats. I like the way he gives the cats his glasses to give them his scent and keep from getting swatted by an upset cat.

Oh it wasn't that one! It was a different cat..forget her name, though.

I think you're talking about Minibar (they called her Mini - cute name). The only reason he had her cornered was because he wanted her out of the corner where all the junk and trash was. They cleaned up the area to block her off from hiding in deep dark corners, but she still had places to run and hide.

I liked that show.. but it got pretty old quickly. like the show "House Cat, House Call" or something.. they all generally gave the same solution to almost everyone "Add tall trees and shelving for them!".. kinda got old for me, lol

My TV channels don't go up that far, to watch Animal planet. But I lived it.

My Ex is my ex because I started adding up his complaints about the cats. Too many, the smell, their jumping around....

Pick, pick on them. I would be next if we were married and he could do anthing he wanted to the cats when my back was turned.

I wasn't willing to risk them to have someone. Too bad they can't get a job and help with the bills
