Is it ok to give my cat catnip everyday? I'm not sure of any negative health problems that may occur. What is the norm? TIA =^.^=

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Do you mean to play with or to eat? I'm not sure if it's good to feed your kitty catnip every day but from what I understand, it's ok as a treat. I would imagine it's ok to play with every day...my girls have several toys with catnip inside and acouple times a week I sprinkle some on their scratching posts with no ill effects.
Mine sure love it!
hopefully someone who knows a little more will stop in soon

I have ferals who for years eat and roll in the outside catnip area. They are fine.
My inside guys eat it and love it.
No worries.

I have a small plant I bought at Petsmart that I keep out for both cats. Jake, our indoor cat eats it a few times a week and Shadow, our feral eats it whenever I offer. I plan to plant some outside when the weather improves. I give some fresh or dried catnip a few times a week on the scratchers or sprinkle a bit on a toys.

I've read that if cats are exposed to catnip too much, they become immune to its effects. I don't know. I refurbish cat toys by keeping them in a sealed plastic bag with catnip. I bring out "new" ones each week. My cats are very excited at this time - a Sunday morning ritual.

I grow my own catnip and Gypsy and Harvey have total access to it since it's in my window and they can get to both plants. They nuzzle it often and chew frequently Im sure, but Harvey has taken a real liking to knawing on DF parsley more than anything...lol

I give it to the cats when I remember I have some. Parker eats it like some crazed druggie who needs a fix and Buddy just rolls in it and gets it all over the place.
They do enjoy a sock stuffed with catnip though. Only for short periods at a time or they get really bored.

I give them feline Greenies dental treats every night and sometimes I'll roll the treats around in the catnip and let them have fun with it.About 3 times a week I'll put out fresh grass that I buy at Petsmart. They love that stuff too. Come to think of it; There isn't much they don't like
