Question of the Day: Thurs. March 24 2011

Gmorning.

Easy question this morning, and I promise I will bring out my aresenal of more thought provoking questions soon.

For today:

I have a kitty on my lap as I try to type this so I'm wondering:

Do your kitties join you at the computer? Do they curl up in your lap or walk around on you as you type?

Banshee was always in my lap. Didn't matter where I was; she was right there.

Mollipop is not really a lap kitty UNLESS I'm on the computer! Then she comes into the room, walks over to me, and jumps. She'll stay on my lap as long as I'm on the computer. I do have a chair right next to mine and am trying to get her to move to that chair. So far, I've not really had a lot of luck. And that's OK.

If m on the computer and im with Sooty he always cuddles up with me and moves closer and closer to the key board so i cant type anymore, i miss that a lot cant wait till hes back with me to snuggle at computer times

Kaymen usually comes up to sit on my lap at the computer but this morning I have a 2 yr old little girl sitting here looking at all the kitty pics

Oh Fetch is always plopped on the desk right where I use the mouse....so he becomes my "cat" pad.

Midnight lays down next to the laptop. Luna will sit facing the laptop, if the mouse catches her eye when I move it. As for laps, 3 cats so far and not 1 of them has ever sat in my lap

Most of the time, Da Lip, Da Magpie and Blue (she needs a gangster name now too, darn it) are in here. Da Lip got so bad, I had to make a place for him beside me as he had to be on the keyboard shelf, and Da Magpie was even worse when she came along. Lots of times, all three are in a heap on the cat seat, until a battle starts for prime real estat but they all hang close by

Gracie is almost always between me and the moniter.

Love this question. Perla, my sweet girl, she loves to watch me type away on the computer. She absolutely loves the smiley list for TCS. She goes crazy for the BLOBS. For Perla

Perkins will come and look once in awhile, but it is mostly Perla

No Autumn does not sit on my lap while I'm on the computer but she does everywhere else. She does sit next to me on the floor while I'm on the computer or at the window sill next to me or right outside the door where she can see me, that's where she is now. No matter where I go, she is usually nearby except of course if she is taking one of her long deep cat naps

LOL, definitely! They sit on my lap, on the keyboard, and walk in front of the monitor.

By sitting on the keyboard they've exited my programs, saved my documents, and shut down the computer.

The second I sit at the computer, Little Squint-Delicious will start dropping tinkly balls all around me until I start throwing (and she will retrive until i die).

Jules-Verne will lay on the printer (blanket on top - out of ink) in the afternoons; Chief Joseph, Graciela, Fuzz and Chief Red Cloud (and Squint) all try to get up in the window if it's sunny (the rest are at the slider by the deck where the sun comes in. There's a big perch, floor, chair, couch; all which get sun.

But as for lap sitting, it's kinda hard the way my desk sets up.

Often Beijo and Chief Joseph will walk on the desk so I can't see what I'm typing. Until I moved my keyboard and mouse down under the desk (to make more room for the cats), they were constantly 'changing my wording!!!" hehe.

The rest nap on the bed if they're not playing with toys or each other.

Oliver asleep on my arm. Oliver is the usual one to lay across my arm while I'm typing. Good thing he's a light weight cat.
