Hi there, I just discovered this site. I really like it so I've decided to stay awhile! I'd like to introduce you to my 3 furbabies.
Heathcliff is a male 16 year old orange and white tabby. Ever since I got him at 6 weeks old, he's been very attached to me. Even after my daughter came along, he's still very much mommy's boy. He's very nervous around new people but if you give him time he relaxes and becomes very affectionate. He's always been very well mannered and loves nothing more then being brushed or curling up on your lap. His favorite treat's are cream cheese or a little bit of meat. He's never had any health issues, other than when he was about a year old, he had to have a toe amputated due to an infection.
Shadow is a 14 year old gray and white male. He is most definately my daughter's cat. He was about a year old when she came along and it was love at first sight, lol. If she would cry, he was right beside her. If she's at a sleepover, he watches out the window for her. Every night he can be found sleeping with her. Shadow is the grouchy one in our house, if he's not in the mood for something you are not going to get him to do it. On the other hand, stranger or not, if you come into our house he will instantly be looking for your attention. When he was about 2 years old he got a UTI and spent a couple of weeks in the hospital, and since then, he's a little over weight but very healthy. His favorite treat; anything crunchy, like crackers.
Finally we have our baby girl Painter. She just turned 2 years old and she's black and white. She's our little trouble maker, lol. Heathcliff doesn't mind her too much, even play fights with her when he's in the mood. Shadow, on the other hand, can't stand her! They have an agreement, if she leaves him alone... he won't beat on her lol! She likes to think that she runs the house but we know better. She absolutely loves spaghetti, not the sauce, just the noodles. If that's what's for supper, look out! When she was six months old we almost lost her. She decided to play on the edge of the bathtub, while my daughter was in it, and fell in. She got a really bad upper respiratory infection and almost didn't make it. She wouldn't eat so we had to force feed her. Now, she healthy as can be and hyper as always. Fav toy? definately bugs, lol.
