Boring question, I know, but so is mopping! What do you use to clean your non-carpet floors?

The cleaning fluids for Swiffer mops trigger my asthma; instead I like to use plain water or with a little Murphy's Wood Oil Soap added. I'm in the market for some new cleaning tools - any suggestions to make it easier are appreciated!

Lipman! It has pads that attach easily and stay securely. I bought an an extra for rinsing. The pads are washed in the machine and then air dried. It has a bottle to put your own solution. I use Dawn dish soap and water on my sealed wood floors. It sprays the solution easily (no batteries). Then clean water in the bottle to rinse. It doesn't get the floors too wet.

I got it at my local supermarket.

I love my mop. Boy that sounds dorky!

Great, this thread will help me too, I am obsessed with mopping and we have laminate, dh says it wrecks the floor. I am in desperate need for a new mop, mine currently looks very thin and be-draggled

I use a steam cleaner (Kärcher) and have never found anything better or faster. The old one started to die after more than a decade of use, and I got a new one right away.

I love to clean and sweep and mop all the time. I have a swiffer but I don't use the pads, I use cloth. And I make my own cleaner out of vinegar, water, and essential oils like lemon or orange. To vacuum the carpets I use baking soda sprinkled and vacuum.
In the past I have used Nature's miracle but I have no idea what is in that stuff. I should look it up.
I think the best option is a steam cleaner that only uses hot water steam.

I bought a mop at a department store demo that actually turned out to be pretty good. It's called a euroclean. I like it because the handle will flatten out so that it can easily clean under the bed. I've never been to their website, but according to the box it's www.LiveEuroclean.com.
