You'll probably love it. The best things about e-readers, especially wireless ones, are instant gratification, more space at home and portability. I adore being able to choose and download a book within a minute or two.

I've really been thinking of getting an e-reader - I'll be interested to hear how you like yours...same thing, more room at home, less weight to drag around on the train (I like to read during my commute). If only it was really easy to get books from the library that way - but I think that's coming.

Oh I bet you'll love it I got an Amazon Kindle from my parents for Christmas and think it's the best thing ever. I've already downloaded about 8 books from Amazon for free, along with a lot of great free games. Let us know what you think of it when you use it after awhile

I took it back. I didn't even take it out of the package. DH assured me that his feelings weren't hurt, but I don't like to return a gift.
