I have a very general question about how big a kitten might be. I have a 6 or 7 month old kitten. I took him to the vet today and he weighed 8.1 lbs. The vet said he could possibly be a very large cat at about 17lbs when he is done growing!!
Im curious, if you remember how much your cats weighed at that age. I have another cat and I honesly dont remember how much he weighed then.

I know it really depends on the individual cat and the genteics and breed and such but I thought there might be a general consensus. He is all grey, very soft plush cat. Short and very stocky.....solid cat.

When I took my 4 month old to the vet, he weighed just under 6 lbs. He weighed 3.64 lbs two weeks before. Come cats grow in spurts, so it's possible your cat won't grow at all, may double in size, or anything in between.

At 5.5 mos, Tumbles was 8.2 lbs. That was about 6 weeks or so ago. I'm afraid to know how big he'll be when full grown!

weighed at 6 months old, but as a healthy adult he was always between 15lbs and 17lbs. Luna was 8lbs when she was at the vet last, that was when she was 6 months old. Midnight was 7lbs about 2 Saturday's he's 4 months old.

Attitude was maybe 6-8 lbs and Nuts was around the same. Attitude's ideal weight was around 9.5 - 10 lbs(I'll never forget how proud I was when she finally got to her ideal weight, she was a little pudgy.) Nuts is around 11- 12.5 lbs at the moment and is nothing but muscle.

There's no place like home
You can't always predict their final weight at that age. My Oscar was a tiny 6 pounder at a year, and grew to be a hefty 15 pounder a year later. My Scarlett grew about a pound a month until she hit 7 months old then stopped growing. At 8 years old, she is still 7 pounds.
