I am in absolute shock. The girl that was murdered went to my kids school. My Dh knows her father. I have known Cody ( the murder) since he was a little boy. Cody played on the same hockey team as my neice. I spent countless hours sitting with his mother and little sister in the arenas. She is a wonderful lady. I just can't imagine that cute, chubby, happy little boy could ever do such a horrible thing. I aslo know his longtime girl friend Amy. I can remember when her Mom came running over to say she was pregnant with her. Three devastated families.

Of course something like that is shocking. Whatever happened, it's very, very, very sad. My thoughts go out to the families, the community, and all who loved her.
