Vibes for Lily!

The doctor just called, the surgery was put off for several hours (I don't know why). She said that there is very bad tissue (she called it sick tissue) where Lily's small and large intestine meet. The tissue is enlarged and she had to put a patch on it because it was not going to hold much longer, so there is some risk the next 24 hours.

The doctor said it could be one of three things that all look very similar, two of which are very bad so we are really, really rooting for #3. She said it could be cancer, FIP, or was a blockage that cleared up but is very irritated. She did a biopsy and we will know in about 5 days.

Lily should be coming home in 2-3 days first, though, tomorrow we are going to visit her in the morning and probably again in the evening.

Lily is the most gentle and sweetest kitty... all our kitties are family members but Lily is my little sweetheart. All prayers continue to be very appreciated.

Oh no, how scary! I'm glad Lily made it surgery, I hope hope hope the biopsy is clear, and she'll start getting better soon. Give her a scritch from all her TCS aunties tomorrow

This will be a long five days for you and your family. I'm glad you can visit her until she is strong enough to come home.
