Sorry for the lateness, this is the first chance I've had on a comp today.

My question:

Have you told someone close to you how you feel lately??

A friend you value, a family member you miss, someone who has impacted your life and you are grateful for that...etc.

It's my dad's birthday today. He would have been 49yrs young had his life not ended on July 15th. I missed him, and wish I had called him for any reason.

So strange you asked this question, Yes! my sister who hasn't been in my life for many years. She phoned yesterday, I told her I love her. It is unfortunate that she is very depressed, sadly she has hurt so many people in her life. Her own children won't have anything to do with her, neither will my brother or other sister. My parents are dead. She has no one. I told her I love her because I do
I am so sad she is in so much pain.

All I can say is yes, feelings are very important and you need to tell people before its too late, I have realised this lately. I am so sorry about your dad but words mean so much.xx

I frequently tell those that matter how I feel there's a couple people that I want to just throw my arms around and say thank you for your help support and love but sometimes we have to make do with words not gestures

I always try and end my conversations with loved ones with "I love you" just in case - you never know what could happen.

Yes, but it doesn't mean it was all good

Chris. I'm sorry about your dad.

We were in the car on Sunday night right before the concert and I was talking to my brother about the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert on my cell phone. And right before we hung up, I said, "Hey, I love you, little brother!" And he said, "I love you, too, big sister!"
