I haven't posted in a LONG time..... but I snagged this pic of Kay n Kizzy this morning and remembered taking one like it shortly after I got him.

The above was taken when Kizzy was 5mos old and had been living here for 2wks. He had ringworm hence the shaved tail, and was slightly underweight.

See what 2 years of lovin's n good food will do

Its hard to tell from the pic, but Kayleigh has grown too. She was 8yrs old in the first, 10 in the second. She's a lot taller now, and lost some of her pudge. Still as kind and gentle as always.

Indeed. I haven't had him weighed recently, I think we're due at the vets in the beginning of the new year. But he's quite hefty.

I have another 3 pics to upload, of Kay holding each kitteh. That gives a little more idea for size.

Not me, but my husband. He's NOT a cat person, or really an animal person. I was worried in the beginning about how he would be

Now, 2yrs later, and 3 cats, he is 'ok' with them....occassionally he will play around with them (not with toys or anything, but if they are being silly, he'll make noises at them or whatever), and he will help me out with litter box cleaning or whatever

Thank you all

Oh my! Has it really been two years? Kizzy has grown into a gorgeous love muffin! (And your DD is pretty dang cute, too).

ETA: I didn't see Kitchi at first in the background of the second pic. He looks wonderful!

I've so missed seeing pics of your babies -- I couldn't wait to open this thread when I saw the title!

Kizzy is looking as handsome as ever. It's amazing what love and care will do for a cat. And, by the way, Kitchi is quite the stud himself. I remember all of the issues that you had with him and his sibling and it's just terrific to see him looking, well, absolutely wonderful. Your DD is beautiful as well and it's obvious she's just smitten with Kizzy (and he with her).

Give Kizzy a belly rub for me...and don't forget about Kitchi or Kiwi! Lovely babies -- all of them. I hope to see more of them 'round here.

I love that not only does your daughter have the same name as me, she has the same nickname as me as well!
All of my friends and family call me Kay.

Those pics are absolutely heart warming!

My husband is the same way, but I can't get past the first cat. He refuses to let me get another one, even though I desperately want one. *sigh* He absolutely adores Nora, and even admits that whilst he isn't an animal person, he really likes her. She is HIS cat and she adores him as much as he adores her. lol He baby talks to her and everything. LOL It's really funny. I've been begging lately to get another cat but he refuses. He did say that we can get a couple dogs when we move to Missouri, though. I'd rather have a cat. *pout*

anytime

He's a little shy at first, Kitchi would be the first kitty you'd see, eventually Kizzy and Kiwi would come out tho.

Thanks for the comments folks.

Yes, Kay does indeed love the kitties
and they've taken a liking to her too. It helps that she takes them to bed every night ( meaning they have a room they stay in at night and its also dry food time, so at about 7:30pm Kay shakes the dry food container and its a flying furry stampede as they all run up to their room LMAO, I'll try to get a recording of it sometime ) allowing them to bond a little more with her.
