I know, it's been a while. I miss you guys and life has been hectic since I last visited. Diva is still alive and well. I moved out of the trailer park and in to a nice townhouse near downtown Mechanicsburg( historical town, nice neighborhood too). I have been through about 4 different jobs since March, including a gig as an appliance sales man, a video game arcade clerk, a mobile 18 wheeler power washer and I am currently working as a delivery driver for a restaurant called Saladworks.
The car has recieved some upgrades including a new set of wheels, new rear brakes, new exhaust, a front lip, and what I think is the ultimate score for a Honda fanatic such as myself, a set of Acura Integra GSR seats for 25 dollars off of craigslist. Normally these go for 250-500 dollars a set. The benefit of these seats is immense, more supportive and they look better. The stock seats feel like park benches.
Anyways, onto Diva. In the two weeks I have been at my new place, she has been MUCH MUCH happier. She LOVES the stairs and will race me up and down( she wins all the time). She absolutely LOVES the basement. It is nice not having to put the cat litter box in the living room right in full view of the front door( gotta love those mobile homes). I have the box under the stairs in the basement. The entire house is her new castle, lol... Befitting a princess!
On a personal level, this house is much better for me as well. Even though I am closer to my neighbors in this house, it feels like worlds apart. In the mobile home, you could see right into your neighbors living room. And the other way around. In the mobile home park I felt as if there were many eyes upon me judging me every time I stepped outside. This neighborhood is much different, people are friendlier, and while they do not stop by to say hello( that is just the way it is where I live) They are not as suspicious of new people. It is nice having a place where the appliances are new and actually work.
The job is great, I am working part time( darn economy) but I am also able to draw unemployment as well( state law, completely legal). The best part is, the new home and all bills only cost 200 more per month in total than my old place.
