I was sick last night, so went to bed early. I woke up this AM to a voicemail letting me know he was very sick, & a text to let me know he was gone.

Play happily over the Rainbow Bridge, "my" baby boy - I may not have seen you in a few years, but you always were a wonderful foster kitty. We knew you were special, but neither Jennifer nor I expected you to be gone so soon. If I had known, I would've kept you to live out your few more years here, & save her the hearrbreak.

I'm happy she gave you a few good years, and I know your brother will be devastated without you.

You were a sick little baby & so unfriendly because of the meds. You were kind of a rowdy pair - PJ & Punky - which I attributed to being boys. Dory tried to raise you right, but there were some things you wouldn't listen to him on.

My all time favorite picture of you three - PJ (buff), Punky (grey), and Paprika (orange)

Run free, PJ, your "aunt" Damita must've met you over the Bridge.

Thank you all ...

PJ died of multiple organ failure... cause unknown, I suspect a combo of genetics , early illness and the fact he never really was healthy ..... He is out of pain is of great solace to me right now ...

I just now saw this and am crying my eyes out - I am so very sorry!

I remember well his story, and my heart goes out to Punky as much as it does to Jennifer and Nat. Those two captured my heart when they were small, too, and PJ will definitely be remembered and missed.

Have fun over Rainbow Bridge, PJ!
