So as my husband was getting ready to take the laundry to the laundromat two days ago he opened the door then remembered he had left his keys by his computer. So he goes to get them comes back in time to see a black cat run into the apt across the hall. I hear him yelling out Phantom! (the name of our black cat.) only to hear her cherp from our bedroom. He turned and looked to see her sitting on the bed. Yep, my husband was yelling at the neighbors new cat.

Poor Phantom!

I don't know how many times I've heard one of the cats getting into stuff and I've yelled out the name I think it is and it turns out to be someone else, so now I just scold in general.

I hope he apologized.

We have problems with Lucy getting on the counters and the only way we know she's been there is a thud when she jumps off. The other day, DH was scolding her as he heard a thud, but she was sleeping sweetly beside me so I think DH was imagining things.

Yeah, at least he saw her and i'm sure black cats are harder to tell apart unless there is some characteristic. But of course we mommies can tell our babies apart from the rest! Whenever my bf see's a pic of a little grey or tabby cat he always says, "Hey, that looks like Neko!" and i just respond with, "hehe, yes sweetie."
Neko is a tortie!! but whatever
He doesn't have an eye for detail.
