Is she eating enough?

I put 1/2 cup of Blue Buffalo in Tessie's dish everyday (1/4 in the morning and 1/4 at night) and throw away the old food in the morning. She is only eating a little over a quarter cup a day. I just want to make sure this is enough.
Thanks!

I had the same worry about Lucky - she is eating less than 1/2 cup a day, roughly 1/3cup I would say... I took her t her check up and the vet said not to worry - she is keeping her 12lbs, looking good and healthy. Those foods are quite caloric! Keep an eye on her weight, if she doens't lose any, looks healthy, and keeps a normal behavior, I would say she is eating enough.
My vet says control by her weight - needs to lose some, feed a little less... needs to gain some feed a little more, rather than based on what is on the package. IMHO the package qty is too much.
My cats eat less than the pkg qty both for wet and dry.

Also, we're all a bit conditioned to think thin is unhealthy. All three of the cats I've brought in with "too thin?" concerns were judged just right by my vet. They eat considerably less than I felt was sufficient (side note - I feed raw, so they eat less even than when fed commercial), but their weights have remained consistent for months, so I no longer worry about it.

I would say she is likely okay ... my 9-15 lb kitties all seem to eat roughly 1/2 cup of food

Thank you . Now my mind is at ease. She has lost a little weight but the vet wanted her to anyways. I will watch her weight to make sure it does not go down much further, If so I will bring her back to the vet.
