This past weekend was the Feast Of Friends for my high school years from 1983-1989. If you graduated in any of those years, you were invited. It was a 2 day event. Friday night was a VIP party at a cantina called Tia Juana's. No kids at that one. Then, Saturday was spent at a local park where the people could bring their kids. BBQ and such... the rock bands from back in the day were to play at the park but it wasn't allowed. So, that night, at another bar, the bands played. Since Tom Dumont of No Doubt graduated from my HS in '86, he showed up and jammed with his old bandmates from HS.

There were alot of people that I haven't seen since HS that came. Quite a few of them I've known since early elementary years. One of them was my 1st crush, but we were just passing acquantices in middle and high school. I finally connected with her again on Facebook and then saw her at the reunion. If you are a friend of mine on FB, she is in my profile pic. After her hubby died from a heart defect, she went back to school and is now an RN raising her 3 kids on her own.

The concept of involving all these classes is what made it so cool. You weren't restricted by your own class in case you hung out with classmates younger or older. The reason it was only 83-89 is because 83 was the 1st graduating class at my HS and it was an 80's only thing.

Sounds like you had a good time! That's a good idea to make it inclusive of all those years so more people can come.
