I am pretty sure he is a boy- but that will get confirmed at the vets tomorrow. We keep going back and forth....cause at first we thought a girl. He's hairy down there so its hard to get a good look and he's also very squirmy.

Any idea what breed you think he might be??? I was told mom is a Persian.....I think he resembles a Himalayan.

He came to us flea infested unfortunately but we were able to use a solution of Dawn/water and get rid of the fleas in one try. Had to pick the buggers out with tweezers.

He really is a sweet little guy and it's been soooo long since I've had the joys of a kitten in my house

Here are some pictures:

Oh yes, he/she is a real cutie. Since he is just about all white, I can only come up with used names such as, Whitey, Snoball, Powder and if a male, Ice would be cute. I'm sure others can come up with better names, Puff is a cute name too.

Well he does have a name already - I guess I neglected to put in the post! WHOOPS!!! His (or her) name is Shalimar. My husband saw some movie a long time ago and he just remembers someone yelling "shalimar" and liked the name. For some reason it kinda matches the kitty.

Yes, he has a sorta orange-red color on his tail and ears.

Dawn/water? Never tried using it. Could you share how much of each for the solution? Thanks!

That is one very precious kitty. I love the slight orange on his/her ears, the stripes on his/her tail and especially the orange on the nose!

It looks to me like he's a flame-pointed cat (some would say Siamese). His colors are just starting to come in, it looks like. That means he will always have those gorgeous blue eyes, too!

Here is a short-hair version of the same coloration, our own beautiful little Flambe.

I did about a 50/50 mix. I started applying at his head and worked my way back that way the fleas couldn't have a chance to hide in his ears/face. The fleas basically got smothered by the solution. It was really gross- they all rose to the top of his fur trying to get away. Some managed to jump off him but didn't get far- they drowned in the tub which also was soapy drowning them. The rest that were on his body were suffocating. Some were still attached to his little body and we literally had to pull them off with the tweezers. It was absolutely disgusting.

Shalimar's ringed tail is so pretty !!

A Himalayan is a colorpointed Persian. He does look like he has Persian in him, and he is pointed allright. Like Mrblanche says, he will get darker (more cream) with age.
