So I tried sole again after many years thinking it's like flounder but it was very different in my opinion. It was salty. I baked it myself and I didn't add salt.

So, do you eat fish? Which ones do you like?

Depends on the type and how it's cooked. Also how fresh it is. If it smells "fishy" and stinks up the house when cooking, no. But if it's fresh and tastes and smells clean and fresh, then yes! Love it! Pickerel is my favourite!

ah- okay it was because i was adding a poll (the poll took 15 minutes to put together)

P.S.
The poll allows more than 1 choice

If it's to eat, not really. But when I get it out of Lake Diefenbaker and deep fry it at my cabin it's to die for
To eat. I was thinking of fish after I read here that some people won't allow their cats to eat tuna.

My two favorite fish to eat aren't listed- crappie and walleye. I also really like flounder, salmon, swordfish, and cod.

I will only eat deep fried shrimp. I'm not a big fish person. We go to Red Lobster sometimes because my husband loves lobster and I always get steak and deep fried shrimp.

I don't like fish either...as healthy as it is for me I just can't stand the smell, and to add to it I have a fear of live fish, in the same way as some people have a fear of spiders and snakes, so that makes it even more difficult for me to get used to eating fish.
If I had to eat one kind of fish though, it would be salmon as when grilled with some lemon it doesn't have the usual fishy smell I really don't like, same with flounder.

I don't like cod much. Flounder isn't bad. I love me some rainbow trout, catfish, salmon and tilapia.

It depends... Raw or cooked? Raw it would be Tuna, and cooked would be Chilean Sea Bass.

Coming from the Canadian Maritimes, naturally I like and eat fish.

Favourite is Halibut. Close second is Brook Trout. I do like Salmon but would choose halibut first if a choice was given. Orange Roughy, Shad and Mackerel are others that I like. As you can see most are non-fishy smelling.

I also like seafood like shrimp, scallops and lobster which we Maritimers don't put in the "fish" category.
