Now THAT was creepy!!

I'm sitting here typing away and I start hearing music. Baby is sleeping, DH just left for work. Etc. At first I thought it was the ice cream man out in the snow or something. Then I realize the strange music is in my house!!

Turns out the cat knocked over the bag where I have Tressa's musical seahorse packed and that turned it on. Doodle was sitting next to the bag looking quite proud of herself! Now that I know what it is, I recognize the tunes!

Good to know it wasn't some kind of haunting other than that of the feline variety.

haha that is the same reason my father requests toys that have an on/off option. The toys use to wake my dad and step-mom up at all hours of the night going off out of nowhere. Glad to hear you don't have ghosts!!!

I have a a small porcelain vase-like ornament. The top comes off and you can put a few small trinkets inside. It winds up. I have it sitting on the bookcase behind me. A couple years ago I was sitting at my computer and suddenly I hear music behind me. I nearly freaked!

I haven't wound it up in probably 10 years and suddenly out of the blue it starts to play music. Not just a note or two, but it played for almost a full minute! My cats never bother my bookcase and the ornament is high up, so nothing got to it. So I have no idea why after all that time it suddenly started playing. You would think that if the winder thingy underneath had been stuck that it would have released years ago, not wait 8 years!!

I have to make sure to pick one of my empty desktops whenever I leave my computer because my girl kittens will get on my desk. One day I was in the bedroom and couldn't figure out why I was hearing music - I had left it on the desktop with my music player and one of the kittens had either managed to hit C or enter. To make it worse it has some minor animation on the player, so that gets their attention.

That IS creepy!!

Sometimes our cd player in the living room likes to randomly turn on and start playing music in the middle of the night. I'm talking like 2 or 3am. Even sometimes now it scares the crap out of me when I hear Metallica start playing when I'm the only one up. It REALLY scared me the first time it happened. *shudder* I swear we have a ghost even though our house is only 3 years old.

I watch Supernatural all the time. I dont care if I knew exactly what was playing the music I would have yelled ghost!!! Haha and been happy about it!

When I lived with my mom my room was in the basement and there was a pathway to go back to the oil tanks and I used to hear footsteps all the time walking past my bedroom...Talk about freaky! I slept under the covers perfectly still and wouldnt move till daylight! To this day I cant watch anything scary before I go to bed or I have horrible nightmares! It makes me miss my stuffed tiger I used to sleep with to keep the nightmares away...
