Yes, they do! I find it so special, they are really brother and sister!
I have a few more pics from today and yesterday. I only take a few pictures at a time so that I don't bother them too much. Also, I plan on updating the thread "the story of a pregnant cat" on the forum "pregnant cat and kitten care" to keep you all posted on the health and growth of these babies and their mommy.
Two of them have names now: those that have stripes on ther noses are Eva (the calico) and Zack (little black and white boy). I am still thinking for the third one. I would like a cute short name like Eva and Zack. If you have any suggestions, feel free to share!
Enough talking, I know you all want to see pictures!

First, 2 pics of the whole family together.

This is Zack (previously known as baby #2)

Baby #3 (still looking for a name)

And here is Eva (or baby #1)

I so hope they will grow healthy. I will do all I can to protect Goupille (the mommy) and her litte ones and I will be so strict when it comes to finding them a good home! I will be like "
you better take care of them like you would with your own life!!!"

I'm the same way with all of my potential adopters. I make them promise to email me with updates, and they all do. I love it! In fact a couple who adopted one of my recent foster kittens is getting married at the end of the month and asked me if I would kitty sit their babies for them. Of COURSE I said yes.

Kailie, I bet you did say yes to kitty sit!
I would too! I also always ask to get pictures and news from my fosters when they quit for new homes. Some of them do, some of them don't and I am always worried when I don't hear back from them. I also tell them and the shelter that once they come into my house, they are always welcome to come back if anything happens.
On a good note, one of the kittens hit the 200g (202g to be more exact!) today! It's #3. I think I will name him Tim. It suits him well. Everyone is doing great and the fastidious mark of the 4th first days is passed. They say sudden death of a kitten is really rare after 4 days of age. Let's hope it's true.

OMG - that is absolutely an adorable kitty family
It really warms my heart to read this thread, to know that there are loving, courageous people who provide a home and love for pregnant kitties in need - the world can be so harsh. It's like a little bit of Heaven here on earth

Just a quick update to say the family is doing great. The kittens are very smart for their age. Only 23 days old and the 3 of them can hop in and out of the box by themselves (wich is pretty high, they have to stand on their rear paws to reach the edge). One of them (Zack) even drank water out of mom's water bowl! They now come to me when they hear my voice and seem to see better (they make eye contact and follow moving objects, inlcuding my feet when I walk!).

Yes, all 3 of them do! And Zack will have longer fur than the other. I will post new pictures tomorrow, they are growing so beautifully!

As for the mother, she is eating a lot 3 times a day and she looks healthy and happy with her babies.

As promised!

Here are the kittens with their eyes opened and starting to explore a little bit. I've rearranged the living room so tha they can only acces half of it. It is not to big and it is kitten-proof. Also, they don't get lost and find their way home to the box easily. I have noticed they only explore when I am in the room with them. When I leave, they go back to their box with their mommy! It's perfect for me as I am the worrying type!

The pictures are not very good, because it i still dark in this part of the room. If I want the picture to look light, I loose clarity. Okay, and I am not a very good photograh either!

This is "grown-up" Eve

Here is my little Tim

And look at how gorgeous Zack turned out to be! He was the tiny one and now he is full of fur and he has tis round cute belly!

The other 2 are just as adorable, but Zack is a bit easier to picture because he is a little more independant. The other 2 will climb onme or stick their noses right into the camera when I try to take pictures of them!

In the spirit of Willy Wonka making chocolate bars "grabbable" through your TV, I want to grab those little babies through my computer screen. Oh, what darlings. I want Eve and the little orange patch on her head...

So, the family is doing great! Last week was a week of FIRSTS! First time using the LITTERBOX
, first time eating semi-solid FOOD
and even first time meeting Zoe and Tania
(under really close supervision). Everything went well. Of course, they don't use the litterbox ALL the time, but it's a great progress. Eve and Tim can both eat semi-solid food. Zack will lick my finger if I dip it in it, but won't eat in the bowl yet (hasn't figured out how, he prefers to bite the edges of the bowl instead!).
Mommy Goupille is very pleased that her kittens are more independant and that she has more time for herself. She is still skinny, but she eats 3 times a day, wich is great.
Here are a few pics of the first times for your viewing pleasure!

Tim eating for the first time. I was so proud, he is the first one that did it!

Of course, it was a little messy. But he sure seemed to enjoy it!

Eve used the litterborx for the first time. (I think this size of picture is better, I will continue with it...)

That's a good girl!!

And Zack started playing with toys (all of them can see and play with toys now, wereas a week ago they wouldn't see it if the toy was moving and they did not know that they could use their paws to make it move).

Look at his sweet face! He is such a lap kitty compared to te 2 others, he makes my heart melt all the time

That's it for today!
I just want to add that even though I love kittens, I would prefer if there weren't any pregnant cat to foster. I just wanted to make it clear that by posting pictures of cute kittens I did not want to encourage or support non-spaying or non-neutering your cats. Save a life, save many lives, spay and neuter, please. Older cats without a home don't stand a chance of finding one if there are always cute kittens in shelters and petshops. And cute kittens themselves are put to sleep everyday because of their large numbers.
