Small brass calipers on a nylon string. Dad made it up years ago (he died in 1990) so he could wear it to gem and mineral shows and be able to measure slabs or cabs or whatever. I carry it cause you never know...

Nothing unusual. I usually don't carry a purse, but I have a picture of my dogs and my husband in my wallet, it is an old picture but makes me smile.

I would have to say probably a package of pop rocks. I bought them for my husband like a week ago but they haven't made it out of my purse yet.

I don't carry a purse to work because I can't find one big enough for books, papers, plans, etc. I guess the most unusual item in my case would be a subdivision plan that I'm working on. And maybe the floppy disks.

I usually have some amusing fortune cookie fortunes tucked into my wallet, but I recently cleaned it out. So those don't count!

The weirdest thing I have is probably my emergency $20.

Or maybe my emergency emergency $20.

Fun thread! Let's keep it rolling! LOL

I am not sure how to answer that one. My husband once told me if I ever lost the purse we would never be able to prove a thing.

Odd is a matter of perspective. I guess today's pocket luggage is a bit weird...found hay bits, dry catfood and beet pulp pellets in my pants pockets. I do normally carry strange things (to many people) like baling twine, a pocket knife, sometimes a roll of VetWrap, small tools, nails, fencing staples and other assorted fasteners....... but to me, and most people with livestock and farmers it is normal stuff but reaching into a pocket for change and hauling out a handful of nails does make some store clerks kinda antsy
Don't carry a purse, if stuff doesn't fit into my pockets, I dont need it

Money. I usually don't carry cash, let alone my "own" money (I got it as a gift for xmas and I can spend it on myself or whatever I want to, and it doesn't get added to the family fund) so that is unusual for me.

2 Mini B*c lighters 'cause there's nothing worse than having a cigarette and a dead lighter...except locking your keys in your car while it's still running, which is why I have 2 sets of keys in the other pocket (I learned that the hard way!
)...

...and my psychiatrist says I'm obsessive (?)

Um i have the usual stuff, keys, phone, wallet, palm poilt...the most unsual is my checkbook because I'm one of the hold outs who still writes checks!!!

but prehaps the oddest thing is I carry around a digital tuner/meternome. Because I am always forgetting it when I go to work so I threw it into my purse one day and now I am ready for anything.
I mean I can tune by ear but guessing tempo is a little harder without one.

My pack of stethoscope attachments in different sizes and a line of small bore tubing for respiratory therapy treatment connections.
Ahh the joys of being a student!

Probably half a loaf of garlic bread in a ziploc in my purse
Rob reminded me to grab it right before walking out of the house so I put it in my purse.

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Hmm my purse is pretty empty except for standard stuff..Wallet, Keys, 18 different tubes of lipgloss and chapstick (yes that many I just counted to be sure) that also doesnt include the 2 tube of chapstick on my computer desk and 3 tubes of chapstick in my car console. I dont like chapped lips whatsoever in case you cant tell lol!

I also have a key to my car on my keychain, a spare key inside my purse and 2 spare keys that I keep in my car till I get them taped to strategic areas on my car. Nothing like locking your keys in the car at the bank and having to call the cops to unlock the door. That will teach BF to forget to ask me if I have my keys while we are locking the doors. He also has 2 spare keys on his keychain. All the spares stemming from locking my keys in the car. LMAO!
