Has anyone else noticed that the Purina UR canned food has a softer consistency than before? The texture is different, and it made my cat vomit for the first time in months. I emailed the company - no reply yet - but just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this.

Oh, I was unaware they were reformulating all the Purina Veterinary cans, not just N/F....what a shame; the old product was just fine.

The canned Purina UR that I've been feeding Muddy for the last 9 months hasn't changed, but now I'm nervous. I have 3 cans left in the last case that I bought and need to buy him more tomorrow. I wonder if they'll have the reformulated one this time around. I'll let you know later this week what I find.

Muddy won't eat either the Royal Canin or Hills urinary health foods at all. If the Purina one has changed, I'm in a heap of trouble.

In my case, the consistency changed about a quarter of the way through the case. So I guess the cans in the case aren't necessarily from the same batch.

Thank you for the link, Sharky.
