Lets talk calendars...

How many do you have? Which to you prefer? Wall, flip, desk, PDA or maybe one of those great big calenders where you can write every little detail about your day? Oh and did you buy this years TCS calendars?

I have 3 or 4 different calendars in several different places. At home we have one of those wall calendars with cute cat pictures. I also carry a pocket calendar in my purse and at work in my office we have a total of three different calendars around the room. A big wall calendar, school calendar and one that the ladies use to mark when they have appointments.

I have three calendars in the house. One small flip animal right here next to my monitor, one wall animal calendar above my other desk in this room and a small flip animal calendar attached to my fridge in the kitchen. No I did not purchase the TCS calendar since I just didn't need any more.

In addition to being a phone, movie camera, PDA, GPS, camera, a game arcade, iPod, and so many other things that it replaces, it also replaces antiquated calendars. I now consult my phone for dates (that end on December 21, 2012 for some reason).

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
I have a calender on my phone that I use to put in appts for cuz it has an alarm on it so I dont forget. I also have a TCS calender that I write my stuff down on too so I dont forget stuff (I can be quite scatterbrained about appts) like the wedding that we have to go to tomorrow. I also mark stuff on BFs calender in the garage and go out there to cross his days off for him. He doesnt really pay attention to it but sometimes I catch him marking things down on the calender!

In my office, I have a wall calendar from my pet food supplier that's a fund raiser for local rescue groups. I buy that every year, and sometimes a few more for gifts.

At home we have a wall calendar in the kitchen that comes from our tel co, and has neat critter pics that have been used in their advertising campaign. It's free and cute.

DH has software that creates a calendar with all our upcoming events several weeks at a time for a different spot in the kitchen.

Mostly, though, I rely on my PDA and the desktop calendar that goes with it.

I would be beyond delighted to order the TCS calendar, if it didn't mean paying duty on it crossing the border. I haven't bought anything from Cafe Press for a long time, because that just makes everything too expensive.

As a calendar to schedule things, I pretty much just use my phone... Which of course syncs with the calendar on my work and home computers, so that's three!

And then my work phone has a calendar, that's 4...

Then at work I have a wall calendar that I don't use (it's still on June '09!
), that's 5...

Then at home I have one that should be on the wall that hubby took down for some unfathomable reason and hasn't put back up yet, for 6...

And then we have a few we got as Christmas presents that we don't have room for yet but also haven't had the heart to throw away, I think it's 3 total?

So that's a total of 9!

Oh, unless you count the system calendar on the two computers, which would make a total of 11!

PS- oh, no, I didn't buy TCS's... I have enough already! Evie and one of my fosters both ALMOST made it in, and I would have then... But alas, no...

I have an awesome Pearls Before Swine "one a day" calendar on my work desk. I need a wall calendar, because we didn't get the freebies this year, and going to Outlook all the time makes me nuts.

I only have one at home, and that is just to keep track of days when I have exercised. I need to make sure the dates with the big green X's outnumber the dates without them.

Hmmmm, let me see:

1. My phone's calendar has a lot of stuff on it, especially work meetings, dr appts, etc.
2. My large desk calendar here at work
3. My planner in my bag is my main calendar and it has everything on it. If I were to lose that, I'd be in big trouble. It's in a leather binder and I buy new organizers for it every year.
4. We always keep a calendar on our fridge with all the dates for both of us.
5. There's a calendar on our pantry door in the kitchen.
6. Our kids always make a calendar with pictures of our grandkids.

So we have six.

I have a regular desk calendar at work for work-stuff, and a page-a-day cat naps calendar next to my work computer. There's a "Crazy about Cats" calendar hanging in our kitchen. Hubby has a "What You Poo Is Telling You" page-a-day calendar on his night stand
One of my Xmas gifts to him. I also have a 2010 Camaro calendar I need to take out of the closet and hang somewhere

I also have a calendar on my Blackberry that I use, as well as my Google calendar.

I rely on them. I have several in the home, and one I carry in my purse and write in all the time. I have done the purse/backpack on for over ten years, it is my crutch. All of them are used. None have cats on them and I would never get a cat calendar, but one is a specific dog breed (my favorite in the world!) that I get every year for Christmas

I have a pocket organizer calendar that I carry in my purse and at work. I write all of my appointments and my call schedule in it. I have a large calendar that hangs in the kitchen that I re-write all of my appointments and call schedule on. If I ever lost my pocket calendar (God forbid!!!) my entire life would come to a screeching halt.

I don't really use a calendar to write down appointments and dates and such. I've never been good at doing that. I have a calendar in my Blackberry that I look at if I need to know a date, and if there is something important to remember I will mark it in that, but otherwise I don't use anything. At most I have one thing per month marked down in my phone. lol

My method of keeping track of appts and such is to write the date and time on a sticky note and put it on the door going into the garage so I see it when I walk out the door in the morning. LMAO! Highly technical, huh?
