Starting an elimination diet and have the wet version but I cant see to find the dry as well. I only see salmon as an option for a non poultry based dry food from them. Not sure if that is wise to be adding salmon at this time and I thought folks here said thats not good for male cats urinary system. Otherwise I am left with my Vet pushing this Science Hill Z/D.

Hills Prescription (not Science Diet, that is grocery store food) Z/D is for food allergies.

Hills and other prescription foods are made the way they are to target specific health disorders. There may be other brands that make a prescription anti allergen foods, you can ask your vet about them or do a little research on your own.

Purina, Royal Canin and I think Wysong have prescription lines and may have a food designed for cats with food intolerance.

Does your cat have food allergies and lower urinary tract disease, or are you just trying to be cautious about the fish?
