Does anyone else have a cat that sits like this?

Does anyone else have a cat that sits like this? You would think I caught him mid-action, like maybe he was getting down off the couch, but no. Marvin sits like this, on sofa ends, on stairs, any bi-level surfaces he can find, sometimes for 20 minutes or more at a time. haha!

No, but I used to have a Doberman that would back up and park his rear end on the couch and leave his front paws on the floor!

I have no idea how to post pics here, but my cat Beeba sits like the OP's cat while watching birds. His butt is on the back of the chair and his front feet on the window sill.

Love the belly pics and all the rest. They are all very familliar to me!

Oh, I wish I knew how to post pics!!

farleyv, I just use photobucket to post pictures. Just upload your image, edit it for size or whatnot (all kinds of fun stuff there), then just insert the IMG code into your post. Easy!

No bi-level kitties here, but my foster kitten Magnum used to lay like this ALL of the time when he was a baby! (Kojak's brother...he got adopted into a wonderful home!)

So cute!
Polly refuses to sit on the floor. She will only sit on things like bags, boxes, DVDs, etc., and we she can't fit she sits the exact opposite. She has her bottom on the floor and as much as her front half as can fit (sometimes just her front paws) on the object.

I'm pretty sure I have a few pix somewhere of some of my furbies that that sit like that, but I gotta go locate them.

How about a cat that "hangs out"?



That's Geronimo. I find him sitting like that every time I come out of the bathroom from taking a shower.

My Shadow will do this after he's been sitting for awhile. He'll stretch his front legs out and let them dangle for a bit before jumping down. Cutest thing ever.

Okay, I wasn't going to post any more pictures on this thread because it's fun to see all the different kitties doing their thing. They're all so adorable

BUT... the other night Marv set a personal record with this impressive angle. Had to share. By the way, I'm glad to see that he's not singularly nuts.
