Ya'll may remember the troubles I had with my husband early when we first adopted Squeaky. I am now happy to say that Squeaky has become a complete daddy's girl, and that the husband has become a complete cat daddy. I've been calling him AbuS (father of Squeaky in arabic) on my blog for quite some time now, but it's only recently that he's reluctantly embraced the nickname as his own. I've even got him to agree to have a family portrait taken

Until then, here are some new pictures:

Squeaky and her daddy. She's such a patient kitty:

A few weeks back, AbuS called me at work and said, you'll never guess how she's sitting. Well, take a picture honey and I'll see:

A very discerning and literate cat:

We also have a Squeaky who is involved in a serious love affair with her daddy! He named her Squeaky (which is the name on her collar) but I call her Squeak. She adores him, and he is crazy about her too!

What a cutie-pie Squeaky is, and what a heartwarming story. No one is as fortunate as a human who is adopted by an animal.

Dusty's Mom, your Squeak is adorable! Nothing sweeter than a man and his cat.

I do remember when your husband was a bit, ah, concerned about kitty making noise, etc. In fact, I remember asking how he'd cope with a human baby, if he thought Squeaky was a handful. So glad to see that all the love in your home has just increased even more, and that Squeaky has him twisted around her little paw

She looks wonderful - surely you are both being blessed every day for making her life so wonderful.

Awww, what a cute Squeak with her daddy

AbuS actually calls Squeaky "Katkoot," which is chick in arabic, and when he really wants to be affectionate, katkoot amour, which is cute chick

Heh, he still maintains that a child crying is natural and can be tolerated, where as a cat meowing at the door at 3 am is not. Thankfully though, she's given up her nightime talking. And when she talks during the day, he "translates" what she's saying and talks back

Thanks! Your Squeaky is beautiful! I just love it when men bond with kitties! My husband was never a cat person until we got our first cat Dusty, a stray, whom he decided needed food, lol! Now he loves both our girls.

May your Squeaky have many happy years with her daddy and you! She looks very happy!
