Frolicat automatic laser pointer for cats - anyone own this?

We have a BaDaBeam, which is similar they are pretty expensive over here at $60. All the cats ignore it


The FroliCat seems to move in more of a pattern than the one I've got so might be better.

Mine all love the laser pointer, which is why I bought an automatic one.

Oh I just read some review comments near the bottom of the page. Some people seem to think the pattern is misrepresented (overstated)

The problem though I have found with our new kitten Paw is anything automatic he gets bored with right away. Whether its feathers or strings, if we are not there playing with him he losses interest fast.

I don't think the automatic laser would hold our Paws attention long.

I wouldn't get any sort of "automatic" laser because the potential for it shining in the cat's eyes is much higher than if it is a regular laser that you have control over. Laser light in the eyes can cause blindness.
