I agree. I think I have an amazon.com box at home that will fit all the gifts. I may just stopped squishing pressies and use it. Last night, I thought I had won the battle until two of the gifts fell out bottom of the box.

I had kind of a cat-astrophe since I last posted. Imagine my surprise when I came home to find all my Santee's gifts out of the box and in the closet floor.
Everything except the gift I keep squishing, which wouldn't fit in the box with the others and was up on the shelf. To make matters worse, someone had chewed into the box of _____________.
I am not making this up, it really happened! It just sounds made up, because things like this don't actually happen, do they? Not after all my Santee's gifts have already been thru!
Since there was no sign of forced entry, I am assuming it was an inside job.
So I went shopping tonight for a replacement gift, since I don't think my SS would appreciate a gift with a big hole in the box. And the good news is, I chose a flatter gift, so maybe everything will fit in the box now?
And if you're wondering who the guilty party is, I have my suspects, (Daisy!) but was unable to obtain pawprints at the scene.

This is an addendum to my previous post. DH and I were watching "The Wheel of Fortune" and I noticed Daisy wasn't in the room.
Me: "Where's Daisy?"
DH: "You probably shut her up in the bathroom." (I have been known to do this by accident.)
Me: "I like to maintain visual contact with her. I'd better go see where she is...."
Well, she was in my closet. I had shut the door: I'm not sure how she opened it. And she had already chewed a hole in my replacement gift! I almost caught her redhanded! Speck was with her, but he was just watching (still, he could be considered an accomplice). I don't think anything else was hurt, but I have to inspect everything closely. The rest of the gifts went up on the shelf. I will go back to the store tomorrow and buy a replacement for the replacement gift. And I bet everyone out there is thinking "Gee, I hope she's not my Secret Santa!"
