I bought some Frontline spray for my cat stinkie. Some of you may have already read about his allergy to fleas and the problems that he has with it. I have never sprayed him with anything before. I am concerned about what will happen if he washes himself after I spray him with it. The vet told me that the spray would be better than those tubes because it is less expensive and I would be able to spray all of my cats without having to buy another bottle. So, since I don't have much money, I bought the spray. Is it okay to use that instead of something else? I am really worried about him washing himself and getting it in his mouth. I couldn't bear for him to sick. What should I do?

Go ahead and use the spray! It is better than a cat torn up by fleas! If you are very concerned about licking before it drys, ask the vet for an E coller. You can also get them at some pet shops. This looks like a radar dish around the kitty's head and they cannot lick anywhere while it is on.

Follow the instructions to the letter and just keep your eye out on your cat for any unusual behavior. If you see anything like drooling, or him acting lethargic, put him in a bath with a little bit of Dawn Detergent (Liquid) in the bath, and wash him off, then take him to the vet.
