Hey I was just wondering if you guys know about the website Elfster? They make it really easy to do a secret santa exchange because it is all contained on a page, you can send reminders/emails to everyone and people can put up wish lists or ideas for gifts there which their 'secret santa' giver can see (and the giver can 'anonymously' ask them questions) , and it can also be used to automatically all the secret santas (randomly but you can tell it to not alllow certain people to be assigned to certain other people which can solve the problem of figuring out who can't mail overseas) and stuff. I used it several times for gift exchanges/secret santas before and it worked really well.

In the past TCS secret santas, there were a number of ss "helpers" who did the job of mediators. As for assignment, I believe it was never done at random but chosen carefully by the organizers.
There are a few people that have posted in this thread that we have not received a sign-up email from. If you have sent in your email and have not received a confirmation of us getting it, please send it again as you are not signed up.
