Gone but not forgotten

I just found out a long ago friend has died from AIDS. My heart is broken.
I have not spoke to him in years, lots of years, but, My friend, this is for you, I will miss you being on this planet, God speed to your next journey.

I am so sorry hon. It's a big shock when you find out someone you know died, regarless of the reason. I opened the paper one day about 15 years ago, and found out my boyfriend from my senior year of highschool died. We were friends for a while but kind of fell out of touch during college but it was just so strange to see his pic in the obits. He was only 27. I still don't know what happened.
