Clicker training/name recognition?

Any one have good resources/advice on clicker training a kitten and helping them with name recognition?

Storm (16 weeks) does not seem to understand that I'm not just flapping my lips. I know she is not hard of hearing, she recognizes other sounds catch her attention right away. Is there any way to help her speed up this process? All my other cats know or have know there names. I don't ever remember having this much trouble before!?

She's still young yet. Give her time and always say her name when you're talking to her, not just calling her. Look at her when you say her name.
There's no way to guarantee that even if she knows her name that she'll come when you call it, not all of mine do, but to actually look over when a cat hears it's name (or overhears it in conversation) is good enough for me.

One thing I think helps is to use names that are a bit more distinctive and aren't something that gets used in conversation unless you are talking about your cat. That or say it a little differently, stress a syllable a bit more.
