Did you know Gummi bears melt?

I went on a trip and left my gummi bears in my bag in 100 degree weather and forgot! Well...when I went in my bag, they had melted, and then solidified into a gel all over my clothes and a book.

So my question is....how do I get it off my book? I can wash the clothes and see if it comes out!

A little off topic, but soak a gummy bear in a shallow plate of water overnight, they get HUGE!

As far as cleaning it....I would try to pull of as much as possible then just hand wash it in warm/hot water.

For the book, put it in the freezer. That gets gum off of things, so it should work for melted gummy bears. Once everything is frozen you should be able to get them off pretty easily.

I DID know gummy bears melt! My friends and I used to lick them and stick them to our car windows (when we were stupid teenagers) until we came back to a hot sticky mess!

I would go for the freeze-then-scrape method with your clothes. I've got my fingers crossed for you!

Oh what a mess! I've had mine melt into a "gummy blob" but never leak out like that. The freezing method sounds good to me!
