Morning all!!!

Today's question is about the habit's of our furry friends.

Do you ever wake up to cat toys in your bed?

I have to say I do quite often, the culprit being Linus. Linus loves to play fetch with the 100 of crinkle balls he has stashed around the house. In the mornings he will bring them into bed so I can throw them for him. However if I am still asleep or don't respond quick enough he will think that isn't the particular ball I want and go get another. Needless to say some mornings I wake up to several laying on the bed beside me.

Can't say that I have....

Kizzy used to sleep with me during the week when hubby was gone, and at times he'd come into bed with us in the middle of the night, but lately I don't think he has been sleeping with me/us. So, nope, no toys.... He doesn't really carry them around any more.

Aww, Linus is bringing you breakfast in bed!

Sooty doesn`t do that. He just stares at me til I wake up and accidentaly pokes me in the face with a paw

Maggie has a mylar wand that she drags all over the house....everywhere she goes. It doesn't matter where I am, sitting in the chair in the living room, at the computer, reading on sofa on the sunporch, or sleeping in bed...she brings her mylar wand there with her! I've awakened many times with it in bed with Maggie and me!

Both Gracie and Casey do that to me. Gracie has her favorite doll shaped like a mouse that I often find on my bed when I wake up and Casey likes to share his toy mice with me.

Susan how do you guess?....

Milky like to bring their own balls and begin to scratch the edredom..
, once he bring it on midnight and I was sleeping at side so when I turn like this...
the ball roll under my back and I didn´t noticed...
those night I got nighmares and when the sun rise I wake up with a big backache...

No cat toys, just cat. Cat in my face, with that stare of death "If you do not wake up RIGHT NOW!!!" Cat attacking my feet, cat wanting to get under the covers, cat getting back out of the covers after 10 whole minutes of being there, then wanting back under the covers, walking all over me. Meowing to me her ponderings of life at 3am, cat cat cat.

I haven't woken up to cat toys in the bed, but I spend my day tripping over them in the apartment. Pushy has a habit of dragging his "octopussy" toy around all the time though. He only does it to that one toy which he just loves, and it's so funny. He got it from our SS last Xmas, so I think it's really sweet how much he likes it.

There's no place like home
Considering the best toys my cats have in the house are each other, then yes, I wake up with a load of toys every day!

Now my dog Lola on the other hand.......I find rawhide bones in bed when I return from work. She's not allowed in bed with us.

Nope. Nora isn't a huge fan of cat toys, and even so we keep our bedroom door closed most of the day so she can't go in there and take toys in.

Thanks everyone who responded to the QOD...It's nice to know that Linus is not the only kitty out there who likes to do this......Now if the other two suddenly decide to follow suit there will be no bed left for me to sleep in..

Late to the party, but yes -- the bed is Cindy's territory and with her come two honeysuckle socks and Doofus Dog. They tend to travel in her company all over the house -- not that we actually see her with them for the most part, but they turn up in all of her spots -- in fact, even the back yard
-- and are often to be found on the bed.

If there is a cat toy in my bed I usually get woken up by being nudged by said cat toy. One of my kittens, Blaze, likes to play fetch and he will bring me a toy while I'm in bed and then either play with it until I notice or put it next to me and then poke me with his paw or the toy until I throw it for him. Of course if I throw it once he will bring it back about 25 more times...

Nope, I don't allow any of my pets in bed with me anymore. I used to let them sleep with me, but my allergies have gotten too bad now so they're all banned from my bed. My bed is my "safe area" so to speak!
