Yep, that is a roadrunner. I didn't realize that they were carnivores until I saw this one jump into a tree and snatch a baby bird out of a nest. It still has the baby bird in its beak. It is kind of sad, but it is the natural order of things.
So nice to see these pics. Thanks for sharing!
