She lives about a 45 minute drive from me. Thank you everyone for the kind words. I have not heard anything yet today. I am at work, so I may not find out anything until tomorrow, but I will keep everyone posted. And sorry about my other comment. I have been feeling down for the past few weeks (other issues I have been dealing with) and now the news about my sister, just let my low mood get to me I gues. Time to hug some cats

I would think that a great big Carmelo hug would be quite medicinal.

John, I'm sending mega vibes for your sister and the whole family during this time.

Oh and hugging one of your cats has to be out of this world.

Sorry it has taken me a little while to update. Well, my sister had surgery this past Monday, the 15th. This is what I found out. They removed the cancer from her ovaries, uterus and felopian tubes. They also removed tumors from the fatty tissue in her stomach and liver (not sure if these tumors were cancerous or not). She will be getting out in 4 days and getting chemo treatments in 1 month. The doctors told her that they removed 99% of the cancer (I know they can never remove it all, that is what the chemo is for). So, that is the news so far. Thank you for the vibes everyone

That is really good news John...thanks for updating.

I will continue sending many that she goes through the chemo well, and that this is the end of it.

I know the chemo is going to be no fun, but I sure hope it does the trick and gets rid of any cancer that may be left.

I hope the chemo isn't too hard on her John. My friend Pam never lost any of her hair, although it went finer, but she did suffer sickness

More healthy coming your sisters way

I haven't updated anything here in a while. I was speaking with my sister for a while today. She is on her 3rd session of chemo and so far, everything seems to be going good, other than losing her hair. She lost a lot of weight, due to the surgery, but that bottomed out and she is beginning to put more weight back on. She was down to 104 pounds. Her appetite is good and she is now able to do stuff around the house. Just by the sound of her voice, I can tell she is feeling better. I haven't seen her in a while, but she told me everyone says she looks so much better now too. She still has more chemo sessions to go, I think she told me a total of 6. They did a CAT scan and she will hear about that tomorrow before her next treatment. I will be on vacation in a little over a week, I will spend some time with her. Thank you for the vibes everyone.

Thank you
She seems to have accepted the hair loss pretty well too. She had pretty, dark brown shoulder length hair. I know that has to be much more difficult for woman than men. But she has not really had any bad side effects from the chemo. She gets pretty tired a few days later, but that is about it. I even told her, that I had people on TCS praying and sending vibes her way
