diarrhea

My male cat has had bouts of diarrhea since Friday. The frequency has lessened alot. The vet did not find anything wrong with the stool sample we brought in, so that was good news. The vet seems to think he ate something he shouldn't have and it is working through his system. He is eating, drinking and playing but is still having bouts 5 days later. I can tell it is uncomfortable for him. He will be 2 years old.

Is there anything I can do to help him?

What are you feeding him? Incompatibility with the food can cause loose bowel movement. Once you change his diet to a suitable one, diarrhea stops almost immediately.
