Panting kitty

I've never seen a cat pant before I got Simon, and it's the cutest (funniest) thing in the world.

He only does it if he's been playing for a long time, usually with a lot of running around, but when he does it it's adorable (and when he does, I start to wind down the playtime a bit)

I would take him to the vet for a chest xray. My Panther did that at not quite 1 years old and I took him to the ER vet who said it was just the exercise. Shortly after he developed asthma and is now on an inhaler plus meds.

The only time I have seen a kitten pant is when they are either scared or over heated.
