The "Look what I received from my Secret Santa" Thread - 2008

OK, so here are the photos of my wonderful gifts. These came from an "Elf" because my SS had to drop out due to things beyond his/her control. I don't know who Santa's Elf is just yet, but what a wonderful job that Elf did.

IN the box was ...A wonderful soft blanket, A cute kitty calender, a kitty photo book, 4 kitty photo frames, an adorable candle, 2 Sudoku books, A TCS Mug with hot chocolate & some bath & body works bubble bath & lotion. The Bath & Body works stuff smells wonderful, and now that I have my own soft blanket, Jordan can keep the one that he stole from me.

Now the cats get to have thier fun.

This is what gave Fran away, a signed glass ornament from the Artist Bill Reid (RIP) of The "Children of the Raven", celebrating creation of humankind by Raven. These were developed exclusively for The Canadian Museum of Civilization. It is so nice and I will treasure it, Fran.

Easy couldnt keep her paws off the brown bag, which is Brown Bag Biscuits for my dog, Snowball.

What's the SPCC?

Ok, so I lined up all of our lovely gifts to take a photo, but someone got a bit excited!

Here they are, without Villy:



We got:

A lovely card with a black and white kitty on,

A beautiful hand knitted scarf, which I can't wait to wear and show everyone,

Some home made green tea and cucumber sugar salt scrub, I absolutely love bath products, and it's even more special as it's home made,

A gorgeous stocking for the girls to hang out on christmas eve,

Two boxes of milk duds and a box of whoppers - Gail has been paying very close attention to my previous posts

I tried those candys on a recent trip to florida, and really liked them, I actually just gave my last box of whoppers to my mum, (I had told her about them and promised them to her) and was wondering how long until I could get some more! I was going to wait until christmas to give them to mum but I had to give them to her early as I was getting too tempted to eat them!

A bag of natural seafood cat treats from the two paws up bakery in Wisconsin - Villy loves those

A really yummy looking bag of dried cranberrys, also from Wisconsin, they are a well known Wisconsin product, I can't wait to try those

A CD of Cory Chisel and the Wandering Son, a local band who are trying to make it big - their music is kind of chilled out country, very good for listening to on the drive to work,

A gorgeous 16 month pretty kitties calendar, which I will put on my desk at work

AND some toys for the girls - 3 cheese wedges, because sports fans in Wisconsin are known as cheese heads. The wedges are filled with catnip - and as you will see - the girls love them! We also got 3 sparkle balls, which the girls love too!

Thank you so much Gail, we have been really spoiled! I love the fact that so many of the presents are unique to Wisconsin, and that you hand made them, it makes them really special and gives us, (literally!) a taste of where you live.
