Update on Andy

It breaks my heart to say my husband found Andy's body today. It looks like some kind of animal got to him. I want to thank each and everyone of you for your love and support. I can really talk now I just wanted everyone to know. Andy is now in a better place with his sister Sarah, and brothers Willy, Benny and Zander.

My heart goes out to you, I know how hard this must be for you, having had a cat killed several years ago myself.

You're right about Andy being in a better place, but that doesn't stop you from missing him.

I will say a prayer for Andy, and for you also.

Just want to say how sorry I am that you lost Andy. The only good thing if that is possible is that you dont have to worry and wonder what happened to him. Again I am very sorry and my thoughts are with you.

Andy had a wonderful life with you I am sure. I think it's better to know for sure what happened to him as much as it hurts. My heart goes out to you sweetie!

Nothing I will say will make everything all better, but just know we are all here for you...to talk to, bring up old times about Andy, to vent....I will sing your Andy to the Rainbow Bridge with my kitties in chourus..

He will be waiting there for you..

Even though I will see you tomorrow I wanted to post my sorrow also. I feel a personal loss with Andy also, as he came from me - Andy was a wonderful, beautiful and friendly "clueless" kind of kitty. He will be missed and remembered by all of us. You and I have lost too many babies this past year and the collective hurt is almost impossible to get over. I will be thinking of you (and Jerry) and Andy tonight.

Many of us have been where you are right now, and in our own way, we have to make our path out of pain. I found this poem long ago. It is called

Dear Michele,

I am truly so sorry that Andy did not make it back home safely. It broke my heart to read the sad news. I hope you will accept my condolences. I am glad that your husband did actually find his body, so that you can grieve properly and begin to have closure. It is somehow worse to never know and to always have that one eye out looking.

It breaks my heart that you have lost Andy. I will be praying for you and we will be here if you should need us. Andy will always be in that special place you will never forget, your heart. Again, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. :angel2:

Oh, Michele! I am so sorry! This is the worst news I've heard in a while...

I am so sorry to her about Andy. I know how you love all your kitty's and I feel your pain. I am just glad Jerry found him, so you will always remember him as he was.
Just from reading the posts on this site there are great and caring people thinking of you and Andy and you know I am always there for you.

Rene told me about Andy yesterday. I am so sorry. But like you said, not knowing is the worst. You now have closure and can grieve and Andy is in a much better place happy and feeling no more pain waiting for you and Jerry at the Bridge. I will miss him because he was such an awesome, loving little guy who purred when you even looked at him. My heart goes out to both you and Jerry. I love you kiddo and if you want to talk, I am here.

I want to thank everyone for their support. It is just too hard right now to think about. I know I wanted to know what happened but knowing stinks too. I just wanted him to come home to me. I still can't believe it and I miss him like crazy. I know everything happens for a reason it just right now I don't know what the reason is.

Michele, I am so sorry about Andy. Being new to this place, I didn't know anything about him, but my heart goes out to you. I know all too well the pain of losing a loved kitty, but I'm glad you know what happened. It's hard not knowing, but it's just as hard knowing. I'll pray for you, your husband, and Andy. I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry about dear, sweet Andy. After so long of not knowing, the heartbreak of finding him killed is shattering. It hurts me to hear this, but know that he has crossed the rainbow bridge and is in a happier place.
