Count me in... I can burp my teenage nephew under the table.. and he's a high school football linebacker!!

I joke that I'm like that little Eskimo character from the Felix the Cat cartoons... Baboom or Vavoom.... he could blow holes in the side of mountains with his voice.

I'm also an excellent mimic - voices, accents, sounds... but not too many people know about it. My boyfriend thinks it's a hoot!

I like my eyes... and my laugh.. When I think something's funny...well.. you KNOW it!!!! And you HEAR it... three rooms away.

What I like about myself is my sense of humour.
Not to be too rude, but I bet your fiance likes that!

I give a great massage. Passed with honors when I took the course for it.
I am empathic, especially when I have my hands on someone.
I have a very dark sense of humor.

Hidden talent? Most people don't know that I can sing; I'm too shy to do it in front of people. In fact, DH has never heard me sing--and we've been married 33 years! I'm also a jack (or jill) of all trades--I can work on just about anything and love power tools.

What I like about myself--my hair, my quirky sense of humor, my sense of empathy for others, and my ability to do Sudoko in ink

I like my eyes and my legs. Guys don't notice my eyes. They talk to my chest all the time. If they are leg men, they make it to the legs after stopping first at the chest. Inherited all of these.

I thought this was normal? Kind of hate it when I'm cooking something I don't like - such as fish.
But it does help that I can sniff or taste something at a restaurant and be able to pretty much replicate it seasoning wise at home by mostly smell.

Funny thing, I don't have allergies but my nose is always at least partially stuffed up.

because i have lots - some weeds, some grasses, some trees, mold, scents, foods... & many i didn't know about the 1st 20+ years of my life.

Well, I haven't been tested - but pollen, grass, mold, ect counts don't have an affect on how stuffy my sinuses get. I can bury my face in cat fur, so obviously that isn't an issue. Allergy meds do nothing. If they have a decongestant in them that may work for a short period - 2 hours tops, instead of the 12-24 hours claimed.

Biggest problem, temperature. Changes in temp - going from hot to cold, or cold to hot, causes my nose to stop up worse or run. Strong scents are an issue. I believe this is more of a vasomotor response, I have vasomotor issues elsewhere so it wouldn't be that far of a stretch.

I had a mild anaphylactic type response to some food years ago, I wish I knew what it was...

one of the allergists i saw years ago had a theory he called the 'barrel theory'. you have a imaginary barrel, that fills as you react to the various allergens. if your barrel is relatively empty, then things don't seem to affect you - but if it's already almost full, then something you normally don't react to has an effect. [don't know how clear that is...]
i've found that frequency makes a huge difference in my food allergies - i can have seafood a couple of times a year... chicken every couple of weeks. also, if i've indulged in something i know is an allergen, then pollen or mold counts skyrocket, i'll react more than if i was eating 'clean', so to speak.
that said, there are plenty of pollens, grasses, etc. that i don't have issues with - ragweed, poison ivy. i barely react to poison ivy, even with MAJOR exposure [crushed the leaves, smelled them - got 1 tiny spot. my sister had it everywhere - even up inside of her nose. we were kids - thought it was mint]. so everyone's different! but if you're always stopped up to some extent, i'd suspect some food that you eat all the time [milk, wheat, corn - those 3 are in everything].

^I still doubt allergies. They're not something that really anyone in my family has. I also have autonomic nervous system issues already in the area that deals with blood vessel constriction and dilation - ie vasomotor. Look up vasomotor rhinitis. The symptoms fit too well. Warm rooms stopped up my nose horribly, but going into another cooler one can have the complete opposite effect...so can eating ice cream, a popsicle, or even a glass of cold water.

I may have it checked eventually. It's not a major issue since my sense of smell is good and I'm not prone to sinus infections.

no one else in my family of origin has them, either - at least, not like mine! altho i get the stuffiness w/eating cold stuff, too. [don't eat a lot of really hot stuff, 'cause my mouth's really sensitive!]

^If I remember correctly, your personality is INTJ - correct?

Sorry to everyone else about this going off topic. But you've just witnessed our "talent" so to speak. Find a subject and the time, and I bet we could both do this for hours.
