I tried to find some kittens tonight that I didn't get to before mama had them. I followed mama for a while, and she went hiding in what I thought was the perfect kitten raising area but no luck. I searched for ages, but no kittens.
So I went and had dinner with DH after work, and I set out a trap while we were having dinner since it's an area where I've caught ferals previously.
After dinner, no cats, so I put the trap back in the car, then as we went to walk away, we saw TWO cats come out and try to scoff the food down. So I ran back with the trap, put the food back in the trap and watched.
One cat put her head in, then got scared off by a car, and we got neither.
One of them was a gorgeous tortie - she had black across her eyes, and it looked like she was wearing a mask! Unfortunately, she also had a big round, low hanging belly
So now I know she's there, I'm going to keep trying to get her - I hope I can get her before she has the babies!
