Okay... since Bella was a baby, she's always loved my black hair bands. They're endless entertainment for her.
And I REALLY could not love her anymore, I just adore my baby girl.
Just now, as I'm sitting here with the laptop, Bella jumps up purring and of course plants herself on top of my arms while I'm trying to type. She's been lax on the cuddling lately, so I put an arm under her and was holding her like a baby. I just petted her for a long time and told her how much I love her and what a great cat she is. Suddenly, she's smelling my chest and nudging her head against it.
I look down, and she has my black hairband that I had put on my shirt earlier when I'd taken my hair down. She was SO cute. I took it out of her mouth and teased her with it, and we just had so much simple fun with that. She would grab it and put it one side in her mouth, then spit it out for me to tease her again. Every time she put one side in her mouth, it reminded me of Ludo from Labyrinth, when he puts the door knocker in his mouth.
How can this tiny little creature create so much happiness within me? She never ceases to amaze me, and every time I think I couldn't possibly love her any more than I do, I surprise myself with this sudden overwhelming feeling.
She's like my CHILD, I mean... I just love her so much. She's such a miracle to me.
I just found myself wishing I had the camera close to me, because it was a perfect picture and video moment.
Man, I love that cat. I'm all teary-eyed now.
