Bonaparte has now had three attacks of eczema since he arrived here. It shows as raised itchy patches on his chest, and once on his back. He tears at it and pulls his fur out with his claws and tongue. I thought I had found the cause when I took off his metal ID disc and it got better, but now he has it again. Neither the vet nor I want to keep giving him cortisone injections, which is the only treatment that seems to work - we have tried topical creams and it makes no difference.

It is so frustrating not to be able to find the cause. Maybe it is an allergy, maybe a seasonal thing, but I can't identify the trigger. Any similar experiences/treatments which might point us in the right direction would be appreciated.
