Yesterday I bought Popsie 12 cans of liver and chicken flavored cat food. Last week he liked it, this week he doesn't.
Luckily I was able to exchange them for turkey and giblets flavored which seems to be the only kind he likes. (for now) I can hardly keep up with his persnicktyness anymore.
It seems as though the older he gets the worse it gets.

Yep! Welcome to my world! As Chynna has gotten older she's become so picky with her food.

Abby has always been picky. She likes one thing and only one thing, trying to change it and she won't eat it...so I can live with that.

But in April between vet brands and store brands, I must have thrown out more than $40.00 in opened canned food because Chynna couldn't eat it before her surgery and refused to eat it after.

I've now found 2 brands and a few flavours that she will eat, and I've managed to figure out a "blend" that she will eat with some encouragement. And sometimes I even have to sit with her and spoon feed her instead of her eating it directly off the plate. It's worse than having a child!

god not patchy! shes sooooo freaking picky. she will only eat one brand: friskies -- but only packets. she refuses to eat the exact same flavors even tho theyre in the can. noooo, god forbid we eat the canned food. and she will only eat friskies dry food also which is bad b/c she has food allergies. she actually kicked the food off the table at the vet (we wont say what she did to the other food at the vet. lets just say i was really embarrassed)

as for little miss thang, you cannot feed her the same flavor twice in a row or she will follow you around, crying like you havent fed her in WEEKS (she did this today when she accidentally got fed chicken twice), she will REFUSE to eat it and she will starve and lose weight.
if you are broke and get to the part of the box that only has beef in it, she will not eat it and if she HAS to eat it, she will throw it back up --in your bed or in your hair. this isnt a one time occurrance, either. believe me...she plans it. shes lucky i love her lol
fortunately, chloe is just the opposite

I have heard of those cats like that. I thought that was a myth. You have proven me wrong.
