I need some help...
I am sure most of you have seen the media about Bill 50 the OSPCA - Animal Abuse Bill in the Legislature.
Clause 6 takes away the rights of any private shelters to use the name Humane Society and can be used against shelters who wish to leave the SPCA.
Please write to your MPP and ask that they remove the Clause from the Bill so it gets through the legislature without so much opposition and shelters are not closed down while they deal with the expensive legalities of changing their names.
