A small rave... it's slightly gross.

Mucinex

Every spring my sinuses drain into my chest seemingly over night. I'm then stuck with a hacking cough until June. This year I decided to try Mucinex, and by golly it worked! It's kind of gross and nasty, but I was able to get over this crud stuff faster than I ever have before.

Like with any OTC, please make sure you read for any drug interactions, but if you have the same issue I do go for it! It works wonders.

And to go with your quote above...definitely make sure you look for drug interactions (http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html) because not all of them are on the box. Be careful with MucinexD or DM, as it contains dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant not found in regular Mucinex), which has an interaction with antidepressants. The same ingredient can be found in many OTC cold medications.
