Hello All!

After last times escapade with getting the harness on Smudge, we have decided to put it on her a few hours before taking her out on it. She seems comfortable enough, but Im just worried that when we take her out, she will escape from it like she nearly did last time! (It was pitch black when we last took her out, she just hid under the bushes in our front garden as this was the first time we have ever took her out! When I went to pick her up to bring her in, she hissed at me sand ran for it! She only managed to get the back bit off, but this time I have done it up a bit tighter). If she was to escape the harness, do you think she would come back? We have kept her in since we had her (12th Feb) and she gets spoilt alot so I hope she will, but as i'm new to all this, I just thought id ask on here xx

Make sure it's tight enough that only one finger can slide under it, though that's still hard to judge long distance here, plus all cats are made a little bit different. I would walk her around the house with it done up a few times, to see if it seems either too tight (e.g. to allow her to move her head/neck all around, or if it digs into the back of her front legs and tummy). Just see if she's 'free' in it, but no longer able to squiggle out of it.
