ARG!!!

I've just HAD it!

There's a "cold" going around that quite a few people in the office have, myself included. Of course I get it because I'm the front office person and therefore everyone who comes or goes is in direct contact with me. This thing does not go away. I've had it for over a week. Just when you think you're getting better, it hits like a Mack truck again.

It hit again today. My nose won't stop running. I feel like my head's a balloon. My voice is crackly when it's there at all. My throat hurts. I slept forever and still have no energy. I'm so tired of being sick!!! I know that others have had or do have the same thing, so I can't really complain at work. So I'll just complain here instead.

The worst part is that I know that this isn't the end of it.

Gary and I get to work primarily from home, and since I'm not really a social person, from the getting sick perspective, I am really happy about that.

I am so sorry you get hit with everything. Colds can really suck. You know what they say - they're three days coming, three days with you, and three days going.

I hope you recover in record time!

Unfortunately this one isnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t on the 3-day cycle. Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s at least a week coming, here, and going. Seriously, we know that itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s at least a 3 week cold (and Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m only on week 2!), more if a secondary infection sets in (one of the engineers got a sinus infection on top of it). Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a nasty bug!

Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m really thankful that the wall I hit came on a weekend. My co-workerâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s wall hit her today, only she canâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t sleep all day!

It really is funny though. Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve found that Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m usually not too bad in the mornings, but by mid-afternoon it hits my lungs with a vengeance and I start coughing. As the day goes on, my voice gets lower and lower since itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s easier on the vocal cords/throat. Totally unconscious thing, but I think itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s funny.

Sending you lots of that you can knock this out of your system quickly!!

What you have is going around in our area also. I'm just bracing myself for when I catch it.
