For those who don't know Gary Gygax created Dungeons and Dragons, the table top role playing game that was a huge part of my life in high school and in college. With out this man I doubt things like World of Warcraft, or gaming as we know it would exist today.

The boys at Penny Arcade did this semi-tasteful tribute to him: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/03/04

It made me laugh and cry at the same time.

May he rest in peace. He will be missed.

I'm so glad someone posted this cause I was going to if nobody did.

I only began to know the D&D system about 4 years ago and when I played it, I had a lot of fun.

RIP Mr. Gygax, and thank you for showing us we can use our imaginations and have a blast doing it.
